Despite yesterday, again the show goes on and we’ve another race today. Feels wrong to talk about yesterday’s race due to what happened, but at TTC we want to ensure you’ve a great insight into the team, so we’ll keep it short.
Rain & Storms called an end to proceedings, the team were gutted as the much needed track time pre Fridays Senior TT race wasn’t possible!
Mercer done well, obviously being a racer he feels he should be quicker. But in today’s Supersport race he bought the bike home for a 12th.
Was a good performance from Mercer, finishing in the top time bracket to pick up another Silver lady trophy. He’d only done a single lap of practice on the bike, so thankfully it completed the 4 laps.To cross the line and be handed a 30 second penalty for speeding in the pits clearly angered him - was it his fault or the bike for the pit limiter not working we didn’t know at the time.
The final results had him in 20th after the time penalty, he would of been 12th without the penalty.
Tonight is awards party as Mercer picks up another two Silver trophies….then we’re onto a Monster Energy Party, the lads are all gutted though as they were hoping for some (lots) of beers tonight - can’t now as the circuit is open tomorrow to make up for today.
