Silverstone Moto2 Shakedown - May 2011
Just arrived at Silverstone and we got the weather which is the first thing you think about, picking up a new Moto2 bike, an FTR which they’ve just built for me.

Le Mans Road Trip - May 2011
So Neevesy pops round Friday evening to start our road trip on our GSXR750s to Le Man for the Motogp. Down to Folkestone, a mile into our journey a Pheasant jumps out and gets mowed over as Neavesy flies by me pulling a wheelie. Man to think that two year ago it was snowing at the BSB and now look at it the paddock is buzzing and so am I, can’t wait to see hopkins, shakey, kirkham and guy martin have a tear up as well all hungry to show what they can do!
I bumped into spike edwards as I walk in and have a brew with them. their team has all super cool people.

hey hey, well i was thinking on my ride home from the studio last night, as im having a bit of a tear up with a moto guzzi, a dude on a supermoto and me on my gsxr 750. this is how every ride through traffic used to be. now everyone is driving miss daisy.
when we stopped at the lights and the dude on the supermoto said looks like your tyre is going flat. we both looked and said no it is flat!!

brands GP one of the best tracks in the world ..says the man who has only rode in the uk and twice in spain but yeah best track in the world lets stick with that.
i was put in group 2, mate some real slow boys in there shit it was like playing bumper cars!! hey we are all here to have fun...

so thursday afternoon i drove down to mallory park in an old motorhome i’ve rented off a local lady, i think its about to see more action in the next few days than in its 20 year life. derek redmond has saved some space with his team, real cool guys !!
