Today (5th June) was the last practice session, it was limited to just the one lap - Pre tomo’s prestigious Superbike Senior TT race.
It was the first time we’ve had the Superbike out on circuit with the new engine, so was a going to be a good bedding in session, it’s done some Dyno tests but nothing compares to Mercer tearing it up round the 37.7 miles here.
After the usual frantic grid walk, he was soon off and ringing its neck. Lap sectors looked good, he finished the session in a cracking 11th place, with a standing start lap speed of 124.6mph and a lap time of 18.09mins.
