Day 1 of 5… Brands GP

Day 1 of 5 days on track…building up to the hottrax at the end of the week. And you know what, I had one of those dream sessions today, just 20 minutes of pure bliss. Brands hatch gp circuit… just everything feeling right and really on the money. The bike was moving around and had a huge slide coming out of clearways, which shook me enough… but you know when you don’t back off, keep it pinned and it puts the fire in you rather than slowing you down.

Neevesy was in the next garage with Park Lane BMW shaking down their bikes with ex-world superbike champion Neil Hodgson…so had some good banter there. And as well as that 20 minute dream session, got some new discs scrubbed in and just getting things prepared for the race ahead. The boys were cool to hang out with as always at these events… and brands gp to me is now THE circuit, it’s the one.
