October Track Day @ Snett

so today was strictly a practice day, and they can go either way really,,, cos you’re trying to better yourself, get things set up and work around your usual parameters to see what you can improve, and see if theres something more to learn about the track;;;  always striving to better yourself and know you’re at your best::,,

and it was wicked hanging out with the guys again,, it feels like the team’s back together and it’s a cool thing to be doing;;; everything’s going well,, it’s the first time we had the two bikes out – that was a good buzz and ben’s really feeling the bike and that’s what really matters;;; and we’ve definitely suffered this season from not having 2 fully prepared bikes so working together with Crescent Racing and the guys at Suzuki GB for preparing another bike definitely makes it feel like the foundations of the team are really starting to come together;;

so we rode out together,, ben knows the track well and is very fast here so was able to tow me along a bit;; we’re starting to feel like more of a team and what we have can now carry us through into next year;; cos my roots definitely lie in endurance racing,, it’s my thing ;;;;;;

so another 2 days out on track again coming up with practice and qualifying before the race on Sunday;;; racing for the last round of the hottrax endurance,, and it feels odd really, like it’s the end of term at school;;; kind of like you’re happy and sad at the same time…. [[mind you,,, anything to do with the end of school… I was just happy,, not sad...]] so yeah,, let’s get stuck in///
